Fairs
Over the past two decades, FlowerTrials has grown from a joint promotional initiative created by a handful of breeders to a key event within the global ornamental community. This year, the fair will be held from June 11 to 14 with 59 exhibiting companies.
FlowerTrials brings together the main breeders , propagators , producers and points of sale in the green sector to discover the new varieties of ornamental plants and the latest trends in the improvement of plants in pots and beds. From vibrant annuals to hardy perennials, FlowerTrials is the place to discover continued innovation and creativity within the sector. This is reflected in assortments that continue to meet consumer requirements for color and garden performance, while addressing changing market demands, including sustainability, disease resistance and adaptability to changing environmental conditions.
Marjolein Kuyucu-Lodder , international marketer of Florensis products and new president of the FlowerTrials Committee says: “Over the last twenty years, FlowerTrials has grown from a joint open house initiative to a key commercial event in the ornamental horticultural calendar. In addition to plants that brighten the garden, the modern consumer looks for plants that are heat resistant, drought tolerant or attractive to pollinators. Exhibiting breeders at FlowerTrials are increasingly responding to these social trends by showcasing the latest plant innovations in inspiring ways, helping retailers successfully convey the story to their customers.”
FlowerTrials serves as a vital hub for green sector professionals to exchange ideas, discover current trends and shape the future of ornamental horticulture. This year exhibitors will show their latest innovations at 30 locations in the central and southern Netherlands, as well as in Germany .
